It's not often you run into a TR3, less often when it's such a cool morning.
I would have rather seen factory spokes or steelies on it, but I like the Panasport/Minilite wheel too.
Now that I typed that sentence, I realize that the wheel was available at the time, so I should probably stop complaining and STFU.. I just saw a TR3 on a cold Saturday morning.

When I'm a little old man, I fully plan on owning an old British roadster, and driving it in cold weather with the leather driving gloves, goggles, and the whole shebang. It will be awesome.

I imagine the driver's face is frozen in that position too.

In a TR3 though his right shoe probably still melted from the heat at the firewall.

My father commuted across what is now I86 between Olean and Corning New York for a winter during the late 70's. He would bundle up like a motorcycle rider and have the heater of full.
BmanUltima's car still hasn't been fixed yet, he'll get on it tomorrow, honest.

TR3s are awesome. The designer made the doors so, "the occupants could touch the ground while seated in the vehicle. Can you imagine that today? What is cool is that because the TR3 and 4 mechanicals are pretty interchangeable, you have a fair amount of factory+ level upgrades that can be done to the car. A TR3/3A can be upgraded to TR3B "TCF" levels with simple swaps. Add in some minor bolt on engine upgrades and you end up with a 110/120hp, 2100lb car with a top speed of over 110+ depending on gearing. And totally exhilarating. Hooning an old British car is one of the more elemental driving experiences. Highly recommend spending some seat time in one.

I think am going to do a piece on British dashboards. I think they are one of the best things about old Brit cars.

Depending how how long that's been in NOVA, there's a chance that it has been seen or gotten parts from Jeff.

I am in the TR club. I can probably find out who owns it.
